Release Notes: November 28, 2022

New Plugin: BB Tubes, available as a single plugin or in the Mercury, Pro Show, SD7 Pro Show bundles. An original-design analog tube saturation plugin from the Waves’ MAGMA series. Includes a license for Lil Tube, which is installed with BB Tubes.

  1. Install and update Waves Central, uninstall previous versions and run Fix Permissions from Waves Central settings. (Backup presets and other data if necessary)
  2. Go to the “1 – Installer” folder, install Waves Central and launch.
  3. Select “Offline Installer” and click “Install from an Offline Installer”.
  4. Select the Waves folder (located inside the folder: 1 – Installer).
  5. Choose your favorite plugins and install!
  6. Unzip the patch from “2 – Patch” and run the patch from VR (see “readme.txt”)
  7. Reboot and enjoy!

BB Tubes did not show up in DAW either in adding Mercury or individually

    I have the same prob. NO BB Tubes incl.

    I did notice that BB Tubes is listed in Windows at
    c:\ program files (x86)\waves\plug -ins v14\bb tubes bundle
    However, adding that path in my DAW for plugins still does not load.

    If anyone else gets it to load please post your findings

      Program Files (x86)\Waves\Data (Folder)
      Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V14 (Folder)
      Program Files (x86)\WavesShells V14 (Folder)
      Program Files (x86)\Common Files\WPAPI (Folder)

      Save them.

      Uninstall everything.

      Do a clean install of R2Rs last release.

      Paste the files and folders from earlier into the same path.

      Patch with VR14.6

      Run your DAW.

      The only down side is, you lose the Preset Browser. You keep your presets and you could still use them from the drop down menu. But the preser browser is no loneger available. Let me know if someone finds a way around this. Thanks. “

The OSX install doesn’t work (the license is still invalid).
