      You Don’t have to Block your Fl studio From Internet Connection by using Windows Firewall or

      You can use your Fl studio with Zhoupengfei Accounts with full function unlocked Fl studio while
      your pc is connected to the internet and never get “FLStudio_TrialExit” .Or your Fl Studio to be
      Blocked due to internet connection.

      =To Solve FLStudio_TrialExit ============
      -On your Windows, Go to “Documents” Folder
      -And Open “Image-Line” folder, Then inside that folder Open “FL Studio” folder then Open “Settings” folder then open “Internet” folder

      Then Another task will appear, Just click “Remove all inherited permissions from this object” .
      Then click “Apply” then click “Ok”.
      All Entries will go away [disappear].

      Well Done!, No Access to that file Anymore.

      When you right click again that Fl Studio “Internet” folder and click “Properties” and then click “Security” Tab
      Make Sure “Group or user names:” Box say
      “No groups or users have permission to access this object. However, the owner of this object can assign permissions.”

      Is to make Fl Studio “Internet” folder Read-Only.
      Original Location of that file is [Documents\Image-Line\FL Studio\Settings\Internet]

      NOW HOW TO MAKE IT READ-ONLY
      *Well, when you Done “Step 1” , The Fl Studio “Internet” folder Will Automatically Be Read-only Already.
      But You just Have to make sure,
      TO DO THAT
      *Just Right Click Fl Studio “Internet” folder From Original location [Documents\Image-Line\FL Studio\Settings\Internet]
      – then click “Properties” then “General” Tab will appear.
      Then from Attributes Down in “General” Tab, Make sure there is mark on Read-only.

          Everything Is Fine Am Connected to Internet and fl studio is On
          I close it and Open it .Everything is fine.
          And Inside Fl Studio Everything is Full Function And Full Unlocked.

          HERE’S THE HELP TRICK.
          After You Done All the Steps Correct as i mention up there .
          When you will try to Open Again that Fl Studio “internet” folder. You will get a warning from your Computer Windows. Says,

          [You don’t currently have permission to access this folder.
          Click Continue to permanently get access to this folder]

          If Your Computer Windows Show That Warning when you Try to Open again that Fl Studio “internet” folder after all the steps.
          Then you Done Every Steps Correct.

          ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!!
          Do not click “Continue” when You get that Warning If You will try to Open that Fl studio “Internet” folder Again .
          This is after You done All the steps correct.

          Please Make sure That Fl studio “Internet” folder Remain inaccessible
          [unable to be reached By Anyone Or Anything]

          Because If you click “Continue”, Windows will create Access to that folder permanently. So All the Step You have Done will be for Nothing.
          Please Make sure That folder Remain inaccessible.

          It is true that after having done what you explained I had an error and fl closed each time.

          Then I made a right click on the “Internet” folder.
          There is an “Get access” to and “Remove access” option.
          I click on “Remove access”.
          A new window opens with “Stop sharing: choose this to remove permissions for all the people you have shared with it”.
          I clicked on it.
          Then I open FL and it’s good everything works perfectly.

INSTALLATION ISSUE??…..u must turn off ur wifi and antivirus services or windows defender for that just type ANTIVIRUS in window search bar and click VIRUS AND THREAT PROTECTION under it click MANAGE SETTING and disable every protection option there must be 4, i guess it wud help if didnt try uninstall older one then restart and try upper thing again……

It works but a) it will keep opening web pages for fl studio related sites (facebook, instagram, twitter) after you exit the program b) if you use the new plugins they will automatically remove them from the project if you open it again c) the project can become corrupted if you open it with another computer which makes it unable to open at all

I don’t recommend using this version until it’s fully patched.

    look in the text files. there should be something to add to the host file. Mine works fine. I added
    127.0.0.1 https://support.image-line.com #BLOCK IMAGELINE
    127.0.0.1 https://www.image-line.com #BLOCK IMAGELINE to my host file as well and it works after doing what Allychussy mentioned. Its the only thing that has worked.

Don’t block internet folder, just open version.xml with notepad, delete all, save it, then make it read only and delete all permissions, inheritance, etc… strange but work for me finally

      This is an update on my update. So I thought it worked. But as still detected by fl and requires me to buy the software. Good thing. I have another installer, ver. 20.8.3. This also came from zhoupengfei. This one is worked for me, but there is a process. If ever you can find this ver. Install it but do not open yet. And make sure you’re not connected to the internet. Do the crack instructions. Then follow Allychussy, follow the instructions of Untagged check the above thread. Then disable the inbound and outbound access of fl in windows firell wall. For instructions check yt. This one worked for me without any of that annoying pop up and I can save it without no issue. And lastly I can all do this while connected through the net.

READ THIS IF ITS STILL NOT WORKING!

I got it to work using a method nearer to the top of the thread, however, due to many people saying it’s still not working I assume not many people saw/tried.

Step 1: Navigate to the internet folder (C:\Users\[name]\Documents\Image-Line\FL Studio\Settings\Internet)

Step 2: Open Versions.xml, do CTRL+A to highlight all, and then CTRL+X to delete all of the text. Then exit, making sure to save it first.

Step 3: Right-click Versions.xml, select properties and make sure to tick the box that says “Read-only”. Head to the Security tab, press the edit button and make sure to tick every box under deny. Press apply, then ok, then exit out of the tabs. You can now launch FL Studio and it will be unlocked, no more trial mode.

Hey guys, mine has worked and would like to share how I did it… After unlocking your flp in the app, go to this PC > Documents> Image line > FL studio > Settings > Internet and click on Versions.xml… here we do not want any user or group to access it, so you have to delete everything on it by opening it using your preferred app (Notepad)… And save it… Then go to the properties of the Versions.xml by right clicking on it… And go to the security tab… Click on the advanced option below and remove everything that is permitted entry… And disable inheritance…. Then click on apply and then ok… On the general tab, click on read only and apply… Then press ok… You are good to go… Don’t do this to the default news.rss because FL studio needs to write operations on that file for it to work… Thank you, for more info. It works for me. What I did was delete the folder of ImageLine at regedit. Remove the old version of FL studio for me its v20.8.3. Then I install the FLRegKey_20.8. After that I install the flstudio_win_20.8.4.2545. Important not to open the fl studio first. Go to the documents (C:\Users\[name]\Documents\Image-Line\FL Studio\Settings\Internet) and don’t remove anything. Just remove permission of Versions.xml just like Jay said. No need for blocking the firewall now you can start the fl studio. That works for me I hope it works for you.
