Modus & Forma: Ambient Electric doesn’t just have one or two guitars! It features 12 different guitar models, each with up to 5 pickup options. Each model offers 14 articulations for maximum expressiveness. And when it comes to amps, this library has no shortage of options, with 14 clean amps, 4 crunch amps, and a direct signal option.

Take control of your music

Modus & Forma: Ambient Electric includes multi-velocity and circular repeats of all frets on all strings, as well as the ability to use a capo to select the perfect playing position. You can do this manually using the key switches, or let the instrument automatically select the optimal position.

Sustain, hammer-on, pull-off, slide up/down, slant picking, fingerpicking, harmonics, bridge picking, rails, variable-speed trills, true variable-speed vibrato, bar effect, variable-speed lever vibrato.

Authentic Arpeggios

Modus & Forma: Ambient Electric also offers two arpeggio modes: a simple mode with 30 presets and an advanced mode that lets you create fingerstyle patterns, import and export presets, and use randomization. In both modes, play a chord with your left hand and activate the arpeggio via the key switch. The library recognizes the chord and converts it to the most appropriate fingering depending on the selected fret position.

Realize your strumming ideas

Modus & Forma: Ambient Electric includes a strumming engine with chord recognition for creating realistic guitar progressions. The library comes with hundreds of chord shapes and fingerings built in, but you can add your own and save them into projects using the chord import/export feature.

If all this is not enough, you will also find an arpeggiator that preserves hammer-ons and pull-offs when changing fret positions.

Randomize

You can randomize each page separately – be it guitar type and tuning, amps or effects, step effects or layers. On the randomize page, you can also create completely new sounds by defining randomization rules. Or let the engine create new sounds by choosing Basic, Medium, or Extreme modes – from crystal clear to intensely processed, cinematic evolving sounds and everything in between.

Finally, for comprehensive control over all parameters, the instrument has an integrated mixer panel, providing instant access to volume, panning, and basic effects settings for each audio layer.
