Arthouse Acoustics presents Basement Soul Selects. We’ve dug deep into our collection and dug up the best of soul from the 60s and 70s. Inspired by many late nights of crate digging, the team set about creating a truly authentic collection of soul and hip-hop samples.

Our team has created extended soul song loops with the sampler in mind, including longer loops with multiple sections for greater scope and versatility, simulating sampling as recorded. Using a variety of vintage samplers, the team has employed slicing, resampling and downsampling techniques to provide a wider range of sonic options.

Alongside extended melodic stacks, you’ll find emotive female vocals, lush pianos and organs, warming electric guitars, grounded electric bass and stacked horns. Also included is a brand new boutique hip-hop drum kit inspired by soulful grooves and breaks.
