Stravaganza 4-Piece Strings
With Studio Strings, you can choose between instrument options that open up endless sound creation possibilities. The four included models, combined with different articulations, give you an entire orchestra at your fingertips.
Bass
The Bass Model is the largest and lowest bowed instrument in the Orchestra – the original sub-bass! Its tone will add deep lows to your string parts.
Cello
The cello is part of the lower range of the orchestra, but has a slightly higher pitch range than the double bass instrument. Because of this higher pitch range, cellos are often heard in solo lead parts in orchestral arrangements due to the beautiful harmonics of their highly recognizable tones.
Viola
The viola is a beautiful instrument that adds fullness to an orchestra due to its excellent mid-tone, which sounds like a violin with extra richness. The viola can often be mistaken for violin tones, but its deeper tone and fullness give it its own character!
Violin
The violin is the highest frequency instrument in the string section. It can often be heard as the main melodic instrument of the orchestra. Usually when you listen to strings you think of the violin, and that’s because there are usually multiple sections playing in any classical arrangement!
