Triple Spiral Audio – Alternate 1.2.1 (KONTAKT)
Alternate is a cinematic instrument for Kontakt with a dark, percussive, distorted, dystopian, industrial, experimental, horror and gothic character. The library is ideal for creating music for trailers, movies, video games, horror, synth-punk or dark ambient.
Alternate contains 712 presets (for each version of Kontakt). 514 presets were available in the first release, 108 new ones were added in update 1.1, and another 90 in update 1.2.
The library includes a collection of seven instruments (new instruments were added in updates 1.1 and 1.2):
Tonal. 4 layers with 80 tonal soundsources – 117 presets/snapshots
Experimental. 4 layers with 80 experimental soundsources – 106 presets/snapshots
Destruction. 4 layers with 45 percussive and 35 distorted soundsources – 88 presets/snapshots
Blend I. 1 layer with tonal, 1 layer with experimental and 2 layers with percussive/distorted soundsources – 101 presets/snapshots
Blend II. 2 layers with tonal and 2 layers with percussive distorted soundsources – 102 presets/snapshots
- Blend III. 2 layers with tonal and 2 layers with experimental soundsources – 108 presets/snapshots (added in update 1.1)
- Blend IV. 2 layers with percussive and experimental soundsources – 90 presets/snapshots (added in update 1.2)
Each instrument contains 4 sound groups, with 80 sound sources per instrument. These groups can be mixed in real time using the XY pad for flexible layering and creative control.
