Luftrum – 24 for TAL J-8 (SYNTH PRESET) – presets for TAL J-8

Luftrum 24 is a sound pack containing 148 presets for the TAL J-8, which is an emulation of the iconic Jupiter-8 hardware synthesizer from 1981. The presets cover a wide range of genres and styles – from synthwave to 90s French house, ambient and synthpop.

Luftrum 24’s TAL J-8 presets are inspired by a wide range of synth-based artists and duos, including Daft Punk, John Carpenter, Vangelis, Perturbator, Steve Roach and The Midnight. Presets range from soaring mono leads to dreamy pads set against dark basses and delicate synth keys.

The presets in Luftrum 24 are created in TAL J-8 version 1.3.8, and you will need this version or later to play the soundbank. To install, open TAL J-8 in your DAW and select “Show Presets Folder…” from the menu, as shown below. This will open the presets directory. Copy and paste the entire Luftrum 24 folder into this location. The soundbank is now in the presets directory (as shown above), and can be browsed directly from the menu or using the dedicated preset browser in TAL J-8.
